But not all at once, but over three years

The Russian government is considering purchasing a very large batch of mobile devices running the domestic "Aurora" OS for civil servants. This was announced by Kirill Menshov, Senior Vice President of Rostelecom.

«The range is from half a million to two million devices… For about three years, but this is very preliminary… This range is mainly being discussed,» said Menshov. He also added that over 500,000 devices have been produced under its control during the existence of "Aurora".

As a reminder, the developer of "Aurora" is OOO "Open Mobile Platform", which is part of Rostelecom.
