Rosatom Buys 100,000 Licenses of MyOffice, a Domestic Alternative to MS Office

One of the largest purchases of Russian office software in recent times

The Vedomosti newspaper, citing an informed source, reported that Rosatom has purchased a large package of licenses for the MyOffice product. MyOffice is a Russian replacement for the Microsoft Office suite of office applications. A representative of the state corporation confirmed to Vedomosti that Rosatom had acquired licenses from the developer Myoffice.

As Pavel Kalyakin, CEO of MyOffice, clarified to Vedomosti, the total number of licenses purchased by Rosatom is 100,000: 35,000 were purchased in 2020–2021. In 2022, the state corporation purchased another 65,000 licenses of two types – MyOffice Standard and MyOffice Professional.
