In Moscow, in the industrial park “Rudnevo”, the serial production of domestic ATMs has begun. It was set up by the Moscow group of companies BFS.
The ATMs are made of 80% domestic components, and in the future this percentage will only increase. At the heart of the ATMs are the 'Elbrus' processors from the Russian 'MCST'. The production line is located on 5.5 thousand square meters, currently, the production capacity of the enterprise is up to 15 thousand ATMs per year, but it can be doubled. BFS has already received orders for 7 thousand ATMs.
In terms of functionality, domestic devices are not inferior to foreign counterparts. They allow performing all the usual operations, contactless reading of bank or transport cards, two-dimensional bar and QR codes. There is also a camera for biometric identification and performing a number of operations without using cards.
