Russian 3D printer prints house for oil workers and all the furniture in it

It was built 1.5 times faster compared to conventional construction methods

The company "Gazprom Neft" printed an entire house for its workers in the city of Labytnangi of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District using a domestic 3D printer. Besides the house, furniture and decor elements were also printed.

3D printing of such buildings has several advantages over traditional construction methods: construction turns out to be 30% cheaper, and the speed of erection increases by 1.5 times.

The house turned out to be energy-efficient: it allows maintaining a comfortable temperature and humidity of the air in the spring and autumn periods, without requiring heating. In winter, the temperature is regulated by electric heating cords.
