Analysts from «Avtostat Info» published data on the sale of passenger cars in Russia in April 2023. Over the past month in Russia, 26 528 new domestic cars were sold, which is 284% higher than the result a year ago. Sales of foreign cars also increased: if in April of last year they were 20,951, then in April of this year - already 47 745 units respectively. Since the beginning of the year and until April inclusive, Russian buyers have purchased 245,470 new cars.
The leader in the market is Lada Granta: in April, Russians bought 8380 Granta of all modifications. Lada Niva with a result of 6593 units is in second place. And then - the Chinese. So, the third place was taken by Geely Coolray, which sold 4158 units in April. Next are Haval Jolion (3531 cars sold) and Chery Tiggo 4 Pro (3381 cars sold).
