Moskvich announced the launch of the main assembly line - the main conveyor. It once assembled Renault cars (for example, the popular Arkana crossovers), and now it assembles the Moskvich 3 crossover, which is actually a Chinese JAC JS4.
Now the "Moskvich 3" comes off an automated line 480 m long. The assembly performance has more than doubled, and the company itself is preparing to switch to small-node assembly. As various operations are localized, welding and painting of bodies are connected on site, Moskvichs should become cheaper. But this is in theory, and time will tell how it will be in practice.
