Moskvich announced the launch of the main assembly line — the main conveyor. It once assembled Renault cars (for example, the popular Arkana crossovers), and now it assembles the Moskvich 3 crossover, which in fact is the Chinese JAC JS4.
Now the Moskvich 3 is coming off an automated line 480 m long. Assembly performance has more than doubled, and the company itself is preparing to switch to small-node assembly. As various operations are localized, welding and painting of bodies are connected on site, Moskvich cars should become cheaper. But this is in theory, and time will tell how it will be in practice.
