The FSUE "NAMI," which reports to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is in talks with the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) about creating luxury yachts under the Aurus brand. This was announced by the General Director of FSUE "NAMI," Fedor Nazarov.
«Yes, we are currently in talks with several companies,» Nazarov answered to the relevant question. He also answered "Yes" to the question of whether USC is participating in the negotiations.
At the same time, according to the General Director of "NAMI," the appearance of Aurus yachts is a distant prospect. «We are still in negotiations. After the negotiations, it will take several years to create them,» he clarified.
As a reminder, Aurus is originally a Russian brand of luxury representative-class cars. Currently, the Aurus Senat sedan and the Komendant SUV are being produced.
