Yandex Taxi has updated its map, with Guatemala becoming a new point on it. A test operation of the service under the international brand Yango is taking place there. Yandex itself confirmed the start of the test operation of the service in Guatemala, but, as noted, it is not yet possible to order a taxi there either through the mobile application or through the web version.
Guatemala is the first country in Central America where Yandex Taxi tests have started. Previously, service tests began in South America - in Peru. In September, Yango service tests began in Dubai (UAE), then in Algeria, Mozambique and Namibia.
