Mikron chip factory finds replacement for materials for new-style foreign passports

Now there should be no problems with the processing of such documents

General Director of the Mikron plant, Gulnara Khasyanova, at the Svyaz-2023 forum, announced that the company had managed to find a replacement for materials for new-style foreign passports.

To the corresponding question, she answered: "Of course, everything will be fine." And then added: "There are Russian manufacturers, we are actively working with them, [although] not everything works out the first time."

As a reminder, the issuance of new-style foreign passports was temporarily suspended in February of this year due to a shortage of microchips that are integrated into the foreign passport form.
