Russia is preparing for the serial production of the Marker multi-purpose robotic complex (developed by specialists from NPO Androidnaya Tekhnika), equipped with a remotely controlled combat module (RCBM) based on the Cornet ATGM. This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damantsev, citing an informed source.
According to the source, the developers of "Marker" took into account a number of comments. Now it is planned to quickly establish the production of an improved robotic platform.
The RCBM will include 9P163-2 transport and launch containers. They can be equipped with 9M133M-2 ATGM (with a range of 8 km and tandem cumulative warheads), as well as 9M133FM-3 multi-purpose missiles (with a range of 10 km and high-explosive warheads).
9M133FM-3 missiles can intercept subsonic air objects with speeds up to 950 km/h.
The expert recalled that the guided missile launched by "Cornet" penetrates more than 1000 mm of armor.
"Marker" and a swarm of drones
In the spring of 2023, Evgeny Dudorov, Executive Director of NPO Androidnaya Tekhnika, stated that "Marker" will be able to launch swarms of small kamikaze drones. In the future, up to 100 such UAVs can be installed on it.
Characteristics of the "Marker" robot:
- Highway speed - 80 km/h (wheeled version), 70 km/h (tracked version)
- Highway range - about 1000 km (wheeled version)
- Overcoming a water obstacle up to 0.8 m
- The main ATGM armament is "Cornet"
- Modular multispectral technical vision system and neural network
