The "Molniya-2" UAV has received another combat load option – a thermobaric warhead from the RPO-A "Shmel" reactive infantry flamethrower. The corresponding footage was published by the "Oboronka" Telegram channel.

The published images show the "Molniya-2" with "Shmel" ammunition installed. This is not about creating a new drone, but about another equipment option for an already used platform.

The drone itself is a light aircraft-type apparatus designed to deliver a payload to a target. In open sources, various equipment options are mentioned for the "Molniya-2", and the thermobaric warhead from the RPO-A "Shmel" has become another recorded configuration.

Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" already reported that the Russian "Molniya" began to be used as an FPV drone carrier. Then images appeared of an aircraft-type UAV with a small FPV apparatus mounted on top, which became another example of expanding the capabilities of this platform.
