The "Khaska-10" air-cushion vessel with flexible skegs has attracted the interest of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, major gas industry companies, and representatives of subarctic regions. Individual vessel configurations are being considered for potential customers, and its carrying capacity is planned to be increased from the current 10 to 20 tons. This was announced by Alan Lushnikov, head of the Kalashnikov concern.

According to him, negotiations with potential customers are already underway. This involves "Khaska-10" variants adapted for the specific tasks of the gas industry, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and northern territories.

At the same time, engineers are working to increase the vessel's capabilities. At the International Maritime Defense Show "Flot-2026", representatives of "Kalashnikov" reported that technical solutions for increasing the carrying capacity to 20 tons have already been prepared.

"Khaska-10" was created by the Rybinsk Shipyard under the order of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Project 03660 vessel belongs to the class of ACVs with flexible skegs – special elastic air cushion enclosures.

The vessel is designed for operation at temperatures down to -50 °C. Initially, its payload was 10 tons. With a length of 23.7 m and a width of 13.6 m, "Khaska-10" can reach speeds of up to 40 knots.

Special attention was paid to the hull manufacturing technology during the vessel's creation. The design uses cold friction welding of aluminum elements. The method allows joining parts without traditional melting of the metal in the weld zone.
