A payphone for free calls to emergency services has been installed in Yevpatoria on Teatralnaya Square, the city administration's press service reported. A similar device appeared in Dzhankoy. The reason is periodic disruptions in mobile communication and power supply, due to which a cell phone can become useless.

The city hall emphasized: the presence of a landline phone is especially important precisely during outages. Assistance Centers operate in the cities of Crimea, where one can charge a phone and stay connected despite the lack of electricity.

Simultaneously, emergency roaming has been launched in the region between operators "Volna", "Miranda", "Win mobile" and "+7Telecom". The technology automatically switches the device to any available network if the operator's main network is temporarily unavailable, while maintaining the subscriber's previous tariff and number.
