MegaFon was the first among operators to launch the "Number Signature" service for individuals. Now, during an incoming call, the caller will be able to see the name of the number owner – just like with business call labeling.
This can help those whose calls are usually ignored. According to the operator, 30% to 75% of calls from unknown numbers go unanswered. The new feature will be especially useful for craftsmen, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and those who have recently changed their number.
The service can be activated in your personal account or application in the "Call Management" section. It costs 3 rubles per day, and the signature is automatically generated from the full name specified in the contract with the operator.
"Number Signature" restores legitimacy to a call: the caller immediately sees who is calling and perceives the call as appropriate, rather than as a potential threat.
Currently, the signature is displayed for calls to other MegaFon subscribers and works on most smartphones with VoLTE. Later, the technology is promised to be extended to the networks of other operators.
