Viktor Bakhirev, an engineer from Nalchik, registered an unusual gravitational unit. According to his design, the unit will be able to create rotation by redistributing loads under the influence of gravity.
The design includes a rotor, some special discs, and a system of weights that move between different radii of the unit during rotation.
When the weights are further from the center of rotation, they create greater torque. Bakhirev proposed automatically moving them to the outer shelves of the discs using a special mechanism.
Due to this, one side of the rotor should constantly remain heavier than the other and maintain rotation.

Unfortunately, Bakhirev did not accompany the document with any clear diagrams. For now, it seems that his idea violates the law of conservation of energy — moving parts to the outer radius will always require more force than the wheel can generate during rotation.
Given the inevitable friction of parts, any such unit will quickly stop without a constant external power source. Nevertheless, his development was registered in the official database of Rospatent.
