Sniper drone "Bolt" created at Kulibin-center: it finds and hits targets itself

The drone is part of the "Ploshchad-PVO" system

Russian developers have created the "Bolt" interceptor drone, which operates in a fully automatic mode. This was reported by the Kulibin-center of the People's Front. Upon receiving a signal from radar stations, the drone independently flies out of the transport-launch container into a given square. The optical homing head locks onto the target, after which "Bolt" destroys it either kinetically or with a warhead.

The drone is part of the "Ploshchad-PVO" system, which combines detection means, launchers, and droneports into a single network. All elements of the system work together — confirming the target and ensuring its destruction.

Earlier, the Kulibin-center also developed a compact kamikaze drone "Mikrob". The drone got its name due to its small size — it fits in the palm of your hand and weighs about 100 grams.

Despite its miniature size, "Mikrob" is capable of carrying from 200 to 350 grams of payload, reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h, and staying in the air for up to 25 minutes. The drone is almost silent, which makes it especially effective for operations in urban environments and for covert operations. "Mikrob" is used for both reconnaissance and target destruction, including personnel and light armored vehicles.
