A new foreign sales market has been found for the SJ-100, MS-21 and Il-114

Alikhanov believes the aircraft will satisfy Saudi Arabia's demand

The new Russian airliners MS-21, SJ-100 and Il-114-300 are capable of meeting Saudi Arabia's demand for domestic air travel, taking into account the expected growth in passenger traffic. This was stated by Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov.

He recalled that the Saudi Vision 2030 program envisages an increase of 50 million trips by 2030.

Right now it is somewhere around 100 million in passenger traffic, and they plan to reach 150. Of course, this will require transport capacity. But, in fact, the Il-114, MS-21 and SJ-100 are exactly the aircraft that could satisfy the demand for domestic transportation.

At the end of January, the Il-114-300 took part in the international aviation exhibition Wings India. Rostec signed a contract for the supply of six aircraft to the private Indian company Flamingo Aerospace.
