Kazan Aircraft Plant (KAZ, part of PAO "Tupolev") has opened a vacancy for the position of milling machine operator. Information about this appeared on one of the job search services.
The applicant will be expected to work on a Soviet 6R12 machine tool; among the duties are milling planes, bevels, shaped surfaces, and serrations. The expected work experience is from one to three years.
The salary for such a specialist is from 95 thousand rubles per month for a 2/2 work schedule of 12-hour shifts. KAZ also promised to compensate rental housing and a private kindergarten for children — 10 thousand rubles each.
Earlier, on February 4, 2026, the United Aircraft Corporation (OAK), GTLK, and S7 Group signed a memorandum on the supply of 100 Tu-214 aircraft, starting in 2029.
In mid-December 2025, KAZ took the first new Tu-214 into the sky. According to the document, by 2030 KAZ must build 115 such aircraft.
