The manufacturer of PD-14 and PS-90A aircraft engines has been summoned to court

Solikamsk Magnesium Plant filed a lawsuit against the company "ODK - Perm Motors"

A lawsuit by OAO "Solikamsk Magnesium Plant" against AO "ODK — Perm Motors" has been registered with the Arbitration Court of Perm Krai. The stated amount of claims is 8.14 million rubles.

This is not the first legal dispute between these enterprises. Earlier, Solikamsk Magnesium Plant successfully recovered more than 2 million rubles from "ODK — Perm Motors." Another lawsuit in the amount of 7.89 million rubles is currently under consideration.

The plant also acted as the plaintiff in a case against "ODK-UMPO", demanding recovery of a debt amounting to 21.9 million rubles.

Solikamsk Magnesium Plant supplies ODK enterprises with magnesium alloys used in the production of aircraft engines. The materials are valued for their increased heat resistance and lower weight compared with aluminum counterparts.

"ODK — Perm Motors" is part of Rostec's United Engine Corporation and manufactures engines for civil aviation. The company's lineup includes PD-8 family engines for the SJ-100, the PD-14 for the MS-21-310, and the PS-90A for the Il-96.
