Certification of the domestically produced regional airliner Il-114-300 accelerated in 2026. The prototype aircraft No. 54115 spent 567 hours in the air in 2025, with a total flight time of 735 hours.
Rostec noted that the Il-114-300 is in the final stage of flight certification tests. Currently, PJSC "Il" is producing three prototype aircraft.
As a reminder, the Il-114-300 is a modernized version of the Il-114 turboprop aircraft, which will replace the outdated An-24, as well as foreign Bombardier Dash 8 and ATR72.
Independent aviation expert Alexey Zakharov warned that the serial production of the Il-114-300 may be associated with problems due to an un налаженной supply chain of components.
At the same time, the Comprehensive Program for the Development of Civil Aviation indicates that Russia will build 51 units of the Il-114-300 by 2030.
