Titanium manufacturer for new PD-8 and PD-14 aircraft engines to launch new workshop

VSMPO-Avisma automated complex planned for construction in Sverdlovsk region

The Russian corporation VSMPO-Avisma plans to build a modern automated complex for processing titanium products in the city of Verkhnyaya Salda, Sverdlovsk Region. A key feature of the new workshop is its environmental friendliness, the company noted.

VSMPO-Avisma has already begun preparations for the project, which will improve the current titanium processing system.

The new line will be equipped with baths with automatic lids that open only when products are fed and removed, as well as side exhaust vents for vapors. All exhaust ventilation systems will be equipped with absorption filters, providing effective cleaning of the removed air and corresponding to the best available technologies in Russia for air purification.
