The Tango light-engine training aircraft created by the S7 airline needs to be fully localized. This was stated by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
At the stand, the Chairman of the Government was presented with a four-seater light-engine training aircraft. Vladislav Filev, General Director of S7 Airspace Corporation, clarified that not all parts of the aircraft have been import-substituted at the moment.
The engine was developed by Russian engineers, but the wheels, chassis, radio station and artificial horizon are foreign.
It's a little sad. Specialists, please, we need to look and quickly solve this problem. Because the localization of the aircraft is almost completed, and those elements that remain, of course, need to be replaced, to make the appropriate certification.
The Tango fuselage is 90% composed of composite materials. The aircraft can be used for training civil aviation pilots, and in the future - for sightseeing and tourist flights, air monitoring and patrolling.
S7 Group plans to release three four-seater light-engine training aircraft Tangoby the end of the year, said Evgeny Bulkin, Head of Sales at Spectra Aircraft.
Earlier www1.ru reported that "Yakovlev" is able to produce up to 36 MS-21 aircraft per year in the future.
