The second prototype of the domestic MC-21-310 aircraft underwent tests in the Irkutsk region, all tests were completed successfully. The chief designer of the liner, Vitaly Naryshkin, said that the passenger cabin in the liner was not equipped.
This is still a test machine, the first test flights. It is, shall we say, naked inside. But in the near future we expect to install all the interior panels, install luggage racks, and install some of the seats.
Naryshkin added that the cabin fitting has already been done, so very soon the plane will be transformed - it will become very beautiful, comfortable and comfortable.
We have repeatedly said that our plane is more spacious and comfortable than our closest Western competitors. So we are waiting for when we can carry passengers. I hope they like it.
It should be noted that UAC has already developed a flexible 3D model for designing a maximally comfortable cabin for the MC-21-310.
Oleg Panteleev, executive director of the Aviaport agency, stated that the MC-21-310 in its basic version better meets market demands than its foreign competitors - Airbus A320neo, Boeing 737 Max and Chinese C919.
