According to him, the crew of the "Baikal" is only two people, and they can quite cope with the maintenance without outside help due to the simplicity of the aircraft design.

The crew of two pilots can prepare the "Baikal" for re-departure, inspect and refuel it. Therefore, complex systems are not designed in the aircraft.

The test pilot emphasized the long flight range and high cruising speed of the "Baikal". The aircraft will be able to fly to the most remote corners of Russia. Serial production of the "Baikal" is planned for the end of 2026.
