The construction of the third production line for the production of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters is being completed at the aviation plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, according to Air & Space Forces Magazine.
According to sources, the specialization of the new production line is the two-seat version of the Felon (Su-57 in NATO codification), first presented in 2023.
India insists on this configuration, not only for training and combat, but also for combat versions.
The Indian side plans to make the Su-57 a full-fledged multi-purpose aircraft, with an emphasis on strike functions, but at the same time capable of gaining air superiority. The same thing happened earlier with the Su-30MKI, which eventually became the main missile carrier of the Indian Air Force.
The strike power and advanced avionics have turned the Su-57 into a real nightmare on the battlefield, aviation expert Roman Gusarov noted.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia built an export fighter Su-34ME for Algeria: the first shots appeared.
