Самолёт МС-21-310 получил систему электроснабжения нового поколения: полностью российская разработка

The onboard cable network was developed by the "Aerospace Systems" company

The newest Russian narrow-body passenger airliner MC-21-310 has received a new generation power supply system (ESS), the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) reported.

According to the technical specifications of the "Yakovlev" company, the system was created by two well-known foreign companies. They partially used existing developments for aircraft of other classes, and partially new solutions specifically for the domestic aircraft. After the introduction of sanctions, foreign suppliers withdrew from the project.

The OKB "Aerospace Systems" (AKS) of the "Promtech" corporation, which developed the onboard cable network of the aircraft, initially participated in the cooperation to create the MC-21-300. A stand was also set up on its territory, where certification and debugging tests of the imported ESS were carried out.

It was this Design Bureau that took over the main part of the work on the development of an import-substituted power supply system in 2022.

Earlier www1.ru reported that 9 countries are working on Boeing, and Russia is building the SJ-100 alone: a unique case in world history.
