Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin inspected the modernized Il-114-300 passenger aircraft at the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom" in Yekaterinburg.

During the inspection, the head of the Cabinet climbed into the cabin and inspected it, and also went into the cockpit to the pilots and talked with them for a short time. The Prime Minister was told that the cabin of the Il-114-300 is wider compared to its counterparts.

In response, Mishustin noted that "big people also exist." The head of government also emphasized that, according to his data, the aircraft is 14% more efficient than foreign counterparts.

About the Il-114-300 aircraft

The aircraft is being developed for local airlines, with the possibility of operation in remote regions. The Il-114-300 is a modernized version of the Il-114 turboprop aircraft, it is assembled from domestically produced components and equipped with domestic systems and equipment.
