Новейшие авиадвигатели ПД-8 от «Суперджета» могут появиться на самолете-амфибии Бе-200

Потребуются дополнительные испытания и сертификация силовой установки на новом воздушном судне

New Russian PD-8 aircraft engines may be installed on the Be-200 amphibious aircraft. Currently, these power units are undergoing test trials on the Superjet SJ-100 medium-range airliner.

Aviation experts believe that the appearance of a promising modification of the newest serial engine with higher performance and similar dimensions on the Be-200 will be beneficial.

Another point is that this will require additional revision of the project, testing and certification of the aircraft with the PD-8. And this will take several years, no matter what. It is clear that we have these several years, since the already produced Be-200 in Taganrog can be maintained in airworthy condition, and maybe 1-2 more can be built in the same form.

At the same time, as of May 2025, no specific work on the PD-8 has yet been observed. Aircraft developers have enough workload on the Superjet, which is serial and passenger.

Earlierwww1.ru reported thatthe service life of Yak-40 aircraft is planned to be extended to 60 years.
