The first prototype of the SJ-100 performed another flight, during which the crew evaluated the automatic control system. This was reported by the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).
The flight time was 4 hours 10 minutes. The crew checked the basic autopilot modes — altitude gain, horizontal flight, descent, turns to a given course, given vertical speed, and others.
The flight took place at altitudes up to 12,200 and in the speed range from the minimum permissible to a speed of 310 knots and a Mach number of 0.81.
The crew evaluates the test results as positive and is preparing to perform certification flights on the automatic control system.
Earlier www1.ru reported that "Yakovlev" showed the full video of the first flight of the fully import-substituted SJ-100.
