SJ-100 and MC-21 Developer Proposed Reducing the Time for Exporting Components Abroad to One Week

Currently, it takes up to 2.5 months to export aircraft parts

The developer of Superjet 100 and MC-21 aircraft, PJSC "Yakovlev," has proposed reducing the time for exporting components abroad to one week for prompt technical support of foreign operators.

The company noted that currently, it takes an average of 2.5 months to export aircraft parts.

The developer is requesting permission to export components without obtaining additional permission under resolutions 311 and 312. Currently, for example, the "Roscosmos" corporation has such an exclusive right.

Resolutions 311 and 312 were adopted by the Russian government in March 2022; the documents established a ban or restriction on the export of certain types of goods and equipment from Russia.

"Yakovlev" is not mentioned in the resolutions, but the effect of the resolutions affects certain nomenclature groups of goods, namely aviation property necessary to maintain the airworthiness of the SSJ line of aircraft abroad.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that ODK started designing aircraft engines using domestic software.
