В Новосибирске запустили современную лабораторию для испытаний авиатехники

It will implement projects in predictive analytics, video analytics, and software development

Novosibirsk State University and the Siberian Aeronautical Research Institute named after S. A. Chaplygin, which is the largest research and testing center for the aviation and space industries in Russia, have created a joint laboratory "Intelligent Testing Systems for Aircraft Structures."

Currently, the laboratory is working on projects related to forecasting, video analysis, and software development for various stages of aircraft testing.

In 2024, Novosibirsk State University began collaborating with the Siberian Aeronautical Research Institute in the development of unmanned aerial systems. Currently, the parties are agreeing on the technical specifications for the creation of software for unmanned aerial vehicle control systems.

Next year, Novosibirsk State University plans to update the strategic project "Digital Future" as part of the "Priority-2030" program. Its goal is to create a center for training specialists and research in the field of unmanned transport and production automation. The new working title of the project is "Smart Drones and Industrial AI."
