The development of the Ulyanovsk Instrument Engineering Design Bureau (UKBP) of the Radioelectronic Technologies concern was presented for the first time at the KRET stand at the Army-2024 forum.
The IM-133 indicator from KRET, which is part of the Rostec State Corporation, has small dimensions and its own satellite navigation module. It can:
- provide navigational support for the flight — the device is responsible for receiving and measuring air pressure parameters, measuring, calculating and displaying the spatial position parameters of the aircraft, and monitoring the operation of the power plant;
- be installed on all types of aircraft: from small aircraft to mainline airliners;
- store operational and technical documentation in memory for ease of maintenance — it can be displayed on the display if necessary;
- download and update its software via a USB connector. The same connector allows you to connect test equipment to the indicator as needed.
According to UKBP, this domestic device essentially replaces the main functions of larger main flight navigation equipment in the cockpit.
The International Military-Technical Forum Army-2024 takes place in the Patriot Exhibition Center from August 12 to 14. This year, the Army forum is being held in a closed format for the first time: cancelled all entertainment events and free access to exhibitions for viewers.
