The United Aircraft Corporation has formed a confirmed portfolio of orders for more than 500 domestic aircraft for domestic transportation until 2035. This was announced at a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy by Oleg Bogomolov, Director of Civil Aviation Program Management at PJSC UAC. According to him, the work was carried out jointly with Sberbank, and these volumes do not take into account potential exports.
Together with Sberbank, we have done a lot of work to form a confirmed demand for the second batch of aircraft. In general, it was made in the context of up to 2035, and these are more than 570 aircraft that our airlines need only in Russia. This is without taking into account the potential volume of exports.
He noted that the approval of financial models is being completed and the terms of the transaction with Aeroflot for the supply of the next batch of 90 MC-21 aircraft.
Negotiations are underway with S7 airline for the supply of 100 modernized Tu-214s, which are scheduled to start in 2029. The project plans to adapt the aircraft's resource indicators to the modern economic requirements of carriers and transfer operation to a crew of two people.
The Aurora Alliance, which unites Far Eastern airlines, has signed a declaration on readiness to participate in the investment project for the acquisition of 20 Il-114 aircraft — immediately after the completion of the supply of the first three aircraft.
There is still high interest in Superjet aircraft. There are currently about 130 such machines in operation in Russia. Taking into account their gradual decommissioning, UAC plans to supply at least 100 new aircraft of this model as part of the second batch in the coming years.
All the announced initiatives are aimed at replacing foreign aircraft and strengthening the technological sovereignty of Russian civil aviation. The implementation of the programs will require synchronization of production facilities, logistics and personnel training.
