The SSJ-100 aircraft began its journey in domestic aviation back in 2011. During this time, many features of the aircraft have manifested themselves in the process of operation in various seasons and conditions, for example, the freezing of cargo door locks.
Such features are usually difficult to determine during testing, so they are taken into account during operation. Gradually, the developers refine these points. However, in the case of the SSJ-100, there are nuances initially laid down during the testing process.
Heat tests for durability
When the aircraft is parked for more than two hours and at a temperature above 35 C°, in addition to closing the sunshades in the passenger cabin and cockpit, it is also necessary to install covers on all wheels to prevent heating. Also, when the air conditioning system (ACS) is turned off, the operation of avionics units is limited. For example, at an air temperature of 40-45 C°, operation is allowed for no more than 60 minutes, and at 45-50 C° — no more than 30 minutes.
Also, at high temperatures, there is a feature with lighting and household equipment. The fact is that in heat above 40 C°, the use of household equipment is prohibited, and a reduction in the level of lighting is required.
The SSJ-100 aircraft, created by the United Aircraft Corporation, have confirmed their status as the "workhorse" of Russian civil aviation – they perform up to 70 flights every day.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec was instructed to reduce the cost of the MS-21 and SJ-100: advantages over Boeing and Airbus are needed.
