Shipbuilders at Perm Shipyard have lifted the "Oleg Davydenko" bunkering tanker (Project 81365T-MEV) onto slipways for repair work. This was reported by the shipbuilding enterprise's press service.
Specialists will remove the old paint coating from the tanker's hull. Then they will apply anti-corrosion primer, an intermediate layer of epoxy resin, and cover it with enamel. The press service explained that such treatment is necessary to protect the hull from the aggressive effects of river and sea water.
