The "Ovod" engineering and production association stated that military sovereignty in modern conflicts is not determined by the number of tanks, missiles, and aircraft. Microelectronics, sensors, secure communications, software, and the ability to quickly scale production are crucial.

At the same time, the developers outlined a new role for tanks and armored vehicles in the context of mass drone deployment. Armored vehicles have not disappeared from the battlefield, but now cannot operate without reconnaissance UAVs, electronic warfare systems, active protection systems, and their own interceptor drones.

The tank of the future, according to "Ovod", is not a single strike vehicle, but an element of a unified combat network. It must be integrated with automatic turrets, reconnaissance and interceptor drones, as well as electronic warfare systems. This approach, according to the engineers, will maintain the combat effectiveness of armored vehicles in new conditions.
