Belarus develops new aviation display for night flights

KB "Display" presented a new generation UD-400

In Vitebsk, at the OAO "KB "Display" enterprise, the assembly process of the first prototype of the UD-400 Type 4N aviation display module was successfully completed. The new version of the product provides for the integration of night vision devices, while maintaining full compatibility with the previous modification.

The new display is designed in accordance with the 3ATI aviation standard and is a development of the UD-400 protected module line. The main difference of the Type 4N version is its compliance with the requirements of the MIL-STD-3009 standard, which regulates the compatibility of onboard equipment with night vision devices. Thanks to this, the module can be used not only on airplanes, but also on modern helicopter equipment, where night flights are one of the key tasks.

At the same time, the developers maintained full interchangeability of the new modification with the basic UD-400 Type 4. The body dimensions, fasteners, and connecting elements are completely identical, so switching to the updated version will not require changing the design of the mounting seats and will allow modernizing existing equipment without additional refinement.

The basic UD-400 series is designed to display graphic, digital, television, and text information under intense mechanical loads.

Display modules are designed for operation under strong vibration, shock loads, and significant temperature changes. High brightness ensures confident image readability even in bright sunlight.
