Technologies created for aviation continue to operate on the ground. Gas turbine units based on the famous PS-90A and D-30 aircraft engines have collectively operated for more than 50 million hours at energy and gas industry facilities, ODK reported.
Power plants ensure the operation of compressor stations, power plants, and large energy facilities from Yamal to Sakhalin, as well as outside Russia. Today, more than 1300 gas turbine units with a total capacity of over 17.5 thousand megawatts are in operation.
To date, 1334 gas turbine units with a total capacity of 17,562 MW have been produced. Their total operating time has exceeded 50 million hours. This is not just a record figure, but an indicator of the quality of the equipment and the excellent work of our team.
The D-30 engine gas generator from the MiG-31 became the basis for a line of industrial turbines with a capacity of up to 6 MW. The more modern PS-90A, installed on the Il-96 and transport Il-76MD-90A, formed the basis of units with a capacity of up to 25 MW.
