The Russian oil company Tatneft has canceled previously imposed limits on the sale of AI-92 gasoline and diesel fuel at its gas stations. This was stated by an informed source.
However, the limit of 30 liters of AI-95 per customer remains in effect. The source added that problems with cashless payment terminals have also been resolved.
Information about limits at Tatneft gas stations appeared on June 15. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Udmurtia stated that the restrictions affected AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline at gas stations in the region. A similar situation developed in other constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
On June 16, the Tatneft gas station hotline confirmed that in all regions, gasoline was sold at 30 liters, and diesel fuel for passenger cars at 60 liters per customer. Truck drivers were sold no more than 300 liters of diesel fuel.
A representative of the oil company explained that these are temporary restrictions. They were introduced to provide customers with fuel "during periods of increased demand and to prevent artificial excitement."
On the same day, problems with payment via terminals due to internet outages were recorded at Tatneft gas stations.
