Serial Tu-214 starts with closed deliveries "for the chosen few" - the market is left in line

Kazan Aircraft Plant plans to reach serial production of up to 20 aircraft per year

In 2026, the United Aircraft Corporation will produce four Tu-214 aircraft, which will be delivered to special customers, not commercial carriers. This was announced by the head of OAK, Vadim Badeha.

The first aircraft [Tu-214] are coming out, this year we will produce 4, next year — 8, and then up to 20. The plant is practically ready for this, we are ready to produce it serially, in large quantities. This year, special customers will receive the aircraft, and Red Wings will start in 2027.

The Tu-214 program remains one of the key programs in civil aircraft manufacturing in Russia and is being implemented in cooperation with the Kazan Aircraft Plant, which is part of the "Tupolev" circuit, with the support of the industrial block of Rostec State Corporation.

Deliveries and increased production form a new cycle of serial production of medium-haul airliners against the backdrop of fleet renewal for Russian carriers, including Red Wings.

Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" reported that the United Aircraft Corporation had completely stopped generating losses and expects to make a profit in 2026, maintaining a positive financial result in the future.
