Kalashnikov Concern has for the first time presented the "Fortis" complex – a vertical take-off and landing drone that can carry and drop FPV drones. After detaching from the carrier, the kamikaze drone is controlled via the same board, which extends the engagement zone to 100 kilometers.
The "Fortis" is presented in three modifications. The junior version, "Fortis 30", carries up to 5 kilograms, reaches 90 kilometers per hour, and ascends to 2500 meters.
The medium version, "Fortis 50", carries up to 7 kilograms at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour and a ceiling of 3000 meters.
The senior version, "Fortis 100", transports up to 18 kilograms and accelerates to 110 kilometers per hour at an altitude of up to 3000 meters.
All versions can stay airborne for up to eight hours and simultaneously conduct monitoring, recognizing stationary and moving objects. One complex includes up to four such drones.
The Concern offers the customer an extended package: a simulator, system diagnostic stands, and an initial flight training simulator for the crew.
Thus, Kalashnikov effectively transforms the FPV drone from a close-combat weapon into a means of fire engagement at operational depth. High autonomy and large payload capacity make the complex not just a carrier, but a universal platform for aerologistics and long-range mining.
Earlier, www1.ru wrote that the Concern's engineers developed 3 variants of the drone.
