The Aeroflot Group will form an aircraft fleet with an equal ratio of domestic and foreign equipment in the long term. It is expected that in 10 years, the share of Russian and foreign aircraft will be 50% each, said Sergey Alexandrovsky, CEO of the airline.
According to him, in order for air travel not to become an expensive service, it is necessary to pay attention to investments in industry and technology.
We assume a 50/50 ratio between the imported and Russian fleet. And we will adhere to our strategy, this proportion.
Recall that Aeroflot operates a mixed fleet, which includes both Airbus A320, A330, and A350 family aircraft, and Boeing — models 737-800 and 777.
The Russian Ministry of Transport emphasized that by 2030, the share of domestic aircraft in the carriers' fleet is intended to be increased to 50%, said Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev.
It is known that Aeroflot plans to purchase 200 MC-21s by 2033. "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" calculated what pace PAO "Yakovlev" needs to achieve to meet such demand.
