The aviation industry has sharply recovered, although the MC-21 and SJ-100 have not yet taken to the skies

OAK increased profitability and earned 9.5 billion rubles in net profit

United Aircraft Corporation (OAK) showed a sharp increase in profitability and returned to net profit in 2025. The company earned 9.5 billion rubles against a loss of 14.2 billion a year earlier, according to IFRS reports.

OAK's revenue grew by 40.8% and reached 759 billion rubles. The main contribution came from aircraft sales – this segment increased by 57.8% and provided 469.3 billion rubles.

Modernization and repair work grew by 20.2%, to 103.2 billion. The cost of goods sold increased more slowly – by 30.5%, which allowed gross profit to double to 157.5 billion rubles and improve operating profitability.

Currently, Russia is preparing for the certification of import-substituted versions of MC-21 and SJ-100 aircraft. All procedures, as the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Rostec have repeatedly promised, will be completed by the end of 2026.
