The second domestic training all-composite aircraft "Tango" has arrived at the airbase in Novosibirsk. The machine has joined the testing program, which is already being carried out by one of the built samples, according to the company "Spectra Aircraft."
It is not yet known whether the new "Tango" aircraft has received the domestic APD-520 engine, which has already been developed for this machine.
Also, another "Tango" has arrived in Torbeevo (Moscow region). The technical group is carrying out a cycle of commissioning works on it, preparing the systems for the upcoming flights. The work continues in parallel tasks mode.
In 2025, production of polymethyl methacrylate glass up to 5 mm thick was established for "Tango", which, in accordance with the parameters of the technological process, is given the necessary shape, including double curvature.
In November 2025, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin assessed the work on "Tango" with the phrase "a little sad". He called for the light aircraft to be fully localized. Serial production is promised to begin in 2026.
