Rosatom has commissioned the first intelligent environmental monitoring station in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The complex, created by "Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions" based on the "Smart-Gateway M1" platform, is adapted to the harsh climate of the region and provides round-the-clock automatic monitoring of ambient air quality. More than 70% of the system's components are of Russian production, which increases reliability and simplifies maintenance.
The station automatically measures the concentration of seven key pollutants at a specified interval: sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and oxide, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and formaldehyde.
The obtained indicators are instantly transmitted to an analytical system for monitoring and forecasting the environmental situation. The flexible configuration of the "Smart-Gateway" allows you to customize the complex for different tasks, expanding the possibilities of application in the areas of industrial and environmental safety.
The equipment is currently undergoing pilot testing. After the tests are completed, the KSRI "Center for the Implementation of Measures for Nature Management and Environmental Protection of the Krasnoyarsk Territory" will assess the effectiveness of the solution, and only then will a decision be made on scaling up the experience to other facilities in the region.
