Rosatom Implemented "Gamma" Software for Microelectronics Development

Engineers from Sevastopol State University (SevSU) have created the "Gamma" automated design system (CAD) for the development of microelectronics. It is used by specialists from Rosatom. This was announced by Dmitry Gachko, founder of ITG corporation.

Currently, "Gamma" is being developed by the private company "Gamma Tech" (part of ITG corporation).

Specifically, our CAD will provide support for calculations in the field of microwave [electronics and component base working with electromagnetic signals of ultra-high frequencies - editor's note www1.ru] and microelectronics through the integration of various specialized solvers.

When developing electronics, it is necessary to check its sensitivity to various waves and signals. The use of specialized CAD is many times cheaper and faster than the manufacture of prototypes, Gachko explained. With the help of "Gamma", engineers "can calculate the parameters of the designed product", he summarized.

About Sevastopol Software

SevSU developed "Gamma" as a training program for students, as Western CAD systems were unavailable due to sanctions. An investor bought the rights to the invention from the university for 45 million rubles. In addition, Sevastopol engineers sold user licenses for "Gamma" for more than 10 million rubles.

Features of the software:

  • electromagnetic modeling function (integrated circuits, antennas and printed circuit boards)
  • acceleration of product development process
  • reduction of costs and testing time
  • does not transmit data about manufactured products to foreign servers
