Rossiya Airlines (part of the Aeroflot Group) will continue flights to Havana and Varadero, despite reports from Cuban aviation authorities about a shortage of jet fuel. This was announced in the group's parent company's Telegram channel.
Against the backdrop of reports from Cuba about a shortage of aviation fuel at the airports of Havana and Varadero, Aeroflot will continue to operate Rossiya Airlines' flight program to these destinations.
If the situation changes, Aeroflot will inform passengers about the current status of flights to Cuba.
Earlier it became known that Russians in Cuba began to be massively evicted from hotels under the pretext of an acute fuel shortage. Vacationers were offered to move to lower-category hotels, where power outages are not so severe, but the difference in price was not compensated in any way.
Vacationers told reporters that in recent days they had to move out of the five-star hotels Valentin Patriarca, Marina Varadero and Paradisus Varadero. The four-star Bella Costa, Villa Gale, Tuxpan and Caleta Palma Real will soon stop receiving guests as well.
