Russian "Superjet" Has Completed 92% of the Certification Program

Three aircraft are taking part in the tests

The certification process for the import-substituted SJ-100 short-haul airliner is gaining momentum. In December 2025, three prototype aircraft took to the skies simultaneously, and the level of certification readiness reached 92%, according to the analytical resource "Letaem vmeste".

At present, aircraft 79021 is mainly flying for certification, where the automatic landing system is being tested. Presumably, in January it will be joined by the first production "Superjet" No. 97024.

On December 20, the aircraft arrived in Ulyanovsk for painting, and on December 29 it made its way to Zhukovsky in a new white livery.
