First Tu-214 in Three Years Painted Abroad

The aircraft was painted at the 407th plant in Minsk

Specialists from the 407th Minsk Civil Aviation Plant have completed painting a new Tu-214 aircraft with registration number RA-64536. This was reported by the Belarusian Embassy in the Russian Federation.

Unfortunately, the diplomatic mission did not provide any post-painting footage. There are also no photographs of the aircraft on the company's official resources.

It should be noted that Tu-214s are traditionally painted white with blue lettering. However, much depends on the wishes of the specific customer, and their individual livery must also be taken into account.

In mid-December 2025, the Kazan Aviation Plant (KAZ, part of Tupolev PJSC of Rostec) raised the first new Tu-214 into the sky 3.5 years after the adoption of the current version of the Comprehensive Aviation Industry Development Program. According to the document, by 2030 KAZ should build 115 of these machines.

In addition, the Tu-214 with a modern domestic complex of avionics and components received a certificate of approval of the main change in the standard design.
