The Russian medium-range passenger aircraft MC-21 has become the central element of the New Year's installation at Zhukovsky Airport. This was reported by the press service of the air harbor.
Last year, the heart of the composition was Superjet. Today, the MC-21 medium-range airliner has taken over! Board 73051 is equipped with Russian PD-14 engines and is participating in certification tests.
The aviation Christmas tree was organized jointly with PJSC "Yakovlev". Tractors, de-icers, snowplows, passenger buses and other special airport equipment serve as peculiar branches and Christmas decorations.
The MC-21 family program is being developed at PJSC "Yakovlev". The aircraft are assembled at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant with the support of technological partners. Deliveries of new passenger aircraft to airlines are expected in the next two years.
